Neil Parsons

Neil offers various training and he enjoys all the courses he teaches.

Neil became registered as an instructor with NPORS in 2008. He believes that to deliver the best training, you have to have actually done the job yourself and as such, doesn't teach any subject or equipment that he doesn't have real life experience with.

As the name suggests, the training is always down to earth while maintaining a professional approach.

NPORS Training

DTE offer NPORS training across the construction, industrial, utilities, warehousing and distribution, agricultural, ports and marine sectors.

NPORS offers flexibility whilst maintaining standards, both nationally and internationally by working with industry and Accredited Training Providers.

BRITTOp Training

BRITTOps is a new(ish) awarding body for operators of plant equipment at work.

Not dissimilar to the accrediting bodies such as npors or rtitb, BRITTOps offer accreditation which is fully compliant with L117, approved code of practice for operators of mobile plant.

The scheme focuses on reducing the amount of paperwork involved in achieving a pass and making sure that the operator is competent to do their work safely.

In the last two years BRITTOps has issued over 13000 certificates of competence.

In house Training

We offer tailored staff training programmes to meet your company objectives and work with individual companies for their training needs.

Lantra Training

Lantra is one of the leading awarding bodies for land-based industries in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We develop quality training courses and nationally recognised qualifications that are delivered through a national network of training Provider Partners.

DTE is starting its journey with Lantra which we are excited about and looking forward to delivering our new courses.

OUR COURSES

Our courses can be adapted to your own specific needs- not everyone who uses a chainsaw has to climb trees, not everyone who drives a tractor works on a farm, so we take an adaptable approach to your training. Please feel free to discuss your particular training needs with us.

Our Tractor course is designed to cover the basics either for a complete novice or the experienced worker. Tractors aren't just for farmers, they're used in a variety industries.

We offer a chainsaw course for anybody who needs to operate a chainsaw on the ground. From a complete novice to an experienced worker.

Telehandlers are used though multiple industries for a variety of purposes, their versatility makes them a very common course for us.

We offer Instructor Training

Becoming An NPORS Instructor(Novice/Existing)

Instructors

NPORS firmly believes that all Instructors play an integral role in training and the testing process to ensure trainees safely operate plant machinery or equipment. Instructors registered with NPORS will have completed an instructional techniques course, to ensure they are both technically competent and understand a range of teaching methods.
